Bellhousing bolt removal?

I'm trying to do a motor swap but I can't seem to get a bite on the four bolts on the sides of the tranny. I got the tops ones just fine, well not just fine but I got them. Any suggestions for tools or approach?

The bottom two really aren't too bad from underneath the car. It's the middle two that always drive me insane.

I just had to use an open end wrench and a whole lot of time to slowly get those bolts out...1/4 turn at a time. I got to em from under the car. I could only get the top two out from on top of the engine compartment.

I've heard that a U-jiont socket thingy along with some sort of outragous combination of extensions and a socket will fit as well, but I have yet to attempt it.

I put the car up as high as I could on jackstands, put a floor jack under the trans pan with a board and removed the trans crossmember. Take out the motor mount bolts and driveshaft and lower the trans until you can use an extension that is about 3 feet long. Long enough to be farther back than the trans rear seal. You can get them really easy if you use the long extension and a swivel socket. Air power is a plus too....
