3.08 gears are posi right? there mated with the T5 and the 305 tbi is that a good combo, or is that just the stock setup? My car was ordered and just want to know if that setup with the rear was normal. 1990 RS

 

The gear ratio has nothing to do with it being posi or not. 3.08 non-posi is probably what you got.

 

i've done a search on this site about switching to a 3.73 posi rear. I didnt really see a set price so if anyone has some info it would be great. Ive gotta rebuild the tranny so I figured Id go ahead and do the rear up too. Whats all involved in the swap? Do I need a whole new rear or just the gear sets?
