used to spin both tires,,,now a one legged dog

hey,,, I have an 84 t/a l69 with a t-5..ive had the car two years now,when i first got it,I could spin both tires.Now when i do a burnout only one tire spins...I'm not sure what rearend i have though,I do know that it has 10 bolts,my vin says i have 3.73 gears,And it also has rear disc brakes...does anyone know what could have caused this? I really dont run it that hard..

if it does have posi, you could have damaged it if you run a different tire diameter (spare) on the back, other than that, i dont know.

You probably have the Eaton locker in your 84 (I have in mine) and they are well known for breaking.

YES you can rebuild the eaton posi units. Install new steels and friction disks, and it'll be good as new.
