I just bought an 86 IROC. I have noticed that the transition from 2nd to 3rd is night and day. second is choppy and third is like driving an automatic (somewhat). Is this normal? my brother in law pointed this out to me. The tranny and gears are stock, but the engine was an upgrade from a 5.0-5.7 (headers, holley/edelbrock. no smog, flowmaster)
