Rattling noise, possibly TC or flexplate
I have a rattling noise whenever the car is in Park or Neutral. The noise sounds like something loose in the torque converter. I don't have the shield on it, so it's pretty easy to hear.
Is it possible to break something in the TC? Or is it a broken flexplate? I have the stock 350/700R4, but I upgraded my traction quite a bit... so I'm thinking a shock in the drivetrain might have broken something. I'm hoping the noise isn't coming from the transmission itself. I checked the fluid after driving for 5 minutes on an already hot engine, and it was a little over the HOT mark on the stick.

Thanks to the 5 people who viewed this post, I know the title was in a newbie format.
I jacked up the car and got under it while it was running... turns out the noise is from a crack or hole in one of my cats.
False alarm. I have to continue to look for an excuse to put a T56 in now.
