T-56 and a 400
I am having a problem here. I called centerforce for the part number for their flywheel for an externally balanced flywheel 2 piece RMS and a T-56 he gave me part number 700177 which ended up being a 1 piece rear main flywheel. so my car is stuck with no tranny now. Does anyone know the part number? I was looking on Centerforces website and it has only one 153-tooth flywheel listed. Do you think that would be it? this really sucks I was hoping to hear the motor fire this weekend. thanks for any help.
By the way the part number I am looking at is 700102
thanks again

i think for a 400 and a T56, you have to get a two piece neutral balance flywheel and the counter wieght that bolts between the flywheel and block. most machine shops should have this wieght, or look for it on the internet.

actually at further glance I found that on the centerforce site they hava flywheel listed for a 6-speed 153-tooth with counter balance 2piece RMS. That sounds like it since the neutral balance has teh same specs just no counter balance.
