weird noise from rear end

about 2 mo ago I had my rear end built up with Richmond 3.73 gears and an aurburn cone type posi. I did what the place that installed it said and took it easy for the first 100 miles and changed the rear axel fluif after 200 miles. for about the last week I'v been hearing a noise that I thought was the new exaust (true duals) I just put in banging aganst the bottm of the car, but today I took my car out and I just figured I'd see where it was comming from. whell the exaust wasen't hitting anything then I tried turning the engine off and cranking the wheel all the way over and roling it by it's back tire and it made the noise and it was verry distinky comming from the rear end. Did I f**k somthing up I dont have the money (I'm only an E-3 in the USAF even with hazerdous duty pay I bearly make enough to get by) to get another posi-it took me forever to save up to get that one. I put limeted slip diff fluid in it when I changed the fluid and I used Slick 50 80/90 gear oil (contains PTFE the same stuff the regular oil has I figured since theres no filter in the rear axel it woulden't hurt.) what did I do wrong? How can I fix it?

when does it happen? all the time, acceleration, decell? Only thing i could possibly think at this point is, is the pinion nut on tight enough? no play in the yoke? when is the last time you checked the u-joints?

it only dose it when I cut the wheels it dosen't do it in a strait line and it dosen't matter weather I'm accelerating or decelerating and my U-joints are allittle worn but not that bad and everything elts is tight

Sounds like the posi is binding up. I'd drain it and see if there are any broken pieces in there. Then use the oil the manufactor recomened.
