Car: '87 IROC-Z/'82 RX7
Engine: SBC 355/1.1L Rotary
Transmission: T56/5 Speed
Axle/Gears: 4.33/3.93
What do I have Spline.... 7.5"?
I have the G92 1985 IROC differential.... The gears were replaced with 3.73.... but I want to put a posi carrier in it. What is my Spline and the inches like 7.5, 7.625, 8.5????

26 spline 7.5".

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
You can upgrade to 7.625 with no problems. They fit a 7.5" carrier also.

The carrier is what holds my current 4 spider gears right?

I've been told do do this, I only need to take the plate off, and then i can unbolt the carrier and bolt in the posi carrier..... Yes?
