Gettin' my Pro-Built.....Monday.
Due to crappy weather between Cali and Georgia, my trans will not be put in this weekend. I won't have it until Monday.
Well there's not much you can do about weather!
So I think I'll change out my worn out open carrier for that SLP takeout limited slip I've had since, hmmm, last October!
Probably a good idea to do that BEFORE the trans!

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I'm waiting for mine to arrive too :-).
I just (a month ago or so) replaced my 2.73 open with a 3.23 Torsen (SLP takeoff). Heh heh what a difference. Posi AND gears... nice upgrade.
Interestingly enough... It APPEARED that my old open 2.73 had been lubricated with engine oil. At least, that was what it LOOKED like. It was foamy too... But gear lube SMELLS, this had almost no odor, and it was much lighter weight than gear lube. I'm assuming some (@#*(-head who owned the car before me changed the diff fluid and didn't know what he was doing.
