93-02 rear on a 89 camaro

93-02 rear on a 89 camaro

what would i need to put this 93-02 rear on my camaro. it already has 3.42's and disc's. and would my wheels work right now on them, and my future wheels which are 17x9's.

your wheels will work. about the only thing you will need to do is bend a new brake line since the rear end is a bit wider. its very simple to do. i have a 3.42 posi rear end out of a 4th gen in my car, it bolts right up with no modifications.

so master cylinder and proportionting vavle will be the same. just bolt in the new rear and attach the brake lines. will this work for a 93 and up camaro and firebird rear.

I've got the rear off of a 95 Formula. Bolted right up, even the brake lines bolted to the calipers. Just need to get the E-brake cables fastened to the car.

if you have rear drums right now you will need to change your prop. valve

my prop valve has both lines on the bottom. do i still need to change it.
