HELP Input Shaft Question on Tremec 3550
Does anybody know what signs can indicate a bent input shaft?
Vibration in the stick? Noise and vibration when accelerating?
I have a stock flywheel and a centerforce 1 clutch setup mated to a Tremec 3550. The shop I took it to replaced the flywheel but they took down the tranny with the bellhousing on as one piece and installed it the same way (with a lot of rocking back and forth). Any ideas?

The input shaft is probably OK, but the clutch disc may be
damaged. Is the driveshaft properly seated at the rearend?
Try re-installing the driveshaft 180* from its present position
on the rearend and see if vibration is less.

Yes, make sure the rear u-joint is seated it the rearend yolk
properly and double check the tranny mount, see if you can
move the back of the tranny any by hand.
It is near impossible to bend the input shaft. I doubt that is it.
