I have an 89 V-6 RS with an automatic. If I wanted to add more power to my V-6, would that hurt my stock transmission? How much horsepower can it hold without blowing up or something? Thanks,

Not sure of the clutch packs on the '89 but I know the '90 and up 700R4's are internally the same as the v-8 version. Everything is the same except for the input shaft and bellhousing, and a few calibration items. So your transmission should handle anything the v-6 could put out, and if it can't it can be modified just like any other 700R4.
