Best posi?

I have a 9-bolt rear end and I'm going to put 3.73 gear ratio in it. I wanted to know whats the beat type and brand of posi to get. For everyday driving. And drag raceing every mustang on the road.

For everyday driving, I'd stay away from lockers and spools. That means pretty much limited slips or something like the Powertrax unit.

That's the super-generic answer I guess.

The problem is that you have the 9 bolt--you are limited to the stock type posi, I think. If you had a 10 bolt I would say get a powertrax. Last I heard they were working on a powertrax for the 9 bolt--but who knows it that will ever happen.

The only posi units available are the OEM style units. They are much stronger than most of the other posi units already.

What kind is OEM or stock for the 9-bolt?
