I am building a 4L60 to go behind my buddy's 355 with AFR heads and supercharger with 6-8 psi of boost. I know what I used in mine which is heavy duty input sprag, extra 3-4 clutches, Corvette servo and reprogramming kit, what else is needed to handle his kind of power? He already has a trango shift kit and a Vigilante 9" converter 3000 stall and plans to spin about 6500. Money shouldn't be a problem, but he has had trouble keeping a tranny together so I thought I should rebuild his extra to handle it. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

 

GM has a deeper pan that holds 2 extra quarts. you need the longer filter kit as well. this pan has a drain plug too. IT now comes OE on the new yukons and suburbans.

BM has a cast alum pan, but the ground clearance may be nil
