Hardened pushrods with stock springs???

Ok, this roller rocker install is starting to **** me off.. I just want to make sure I do it right the first time... I just got some Comp Cams Magnum roller rockers.. Putting them on my stock L69.. I pulled everything off and was getting ready to put them on and read in the instructions that you MUST replace the pushrods... So I figure I will go on and replace them. I went to a local shop and ordered some Comp Cam High-Tech (hardened) pushrods.. So I was getting ready to put them on and someone just told me that you should never install hardened pushrods with stock valve springs... @#$(#% Should I see if I can return these and order some new non-hardened pushrods?

Thanks
