Swapping 87 9bolt for 92 10bolt
I'm toying with the idea of swapping a 3.23 posi disk 10-bolt from a 92 formula into my 87 GTA, in place of the 2.77 posi disk setup. But what all is involved in this? I mean, what all do I have to switch besides the rearends? I've been told that the calipers are different and I would have to switch them, and that I would have to swap the e-brake cables as well. Is this true?

If you have all the brake hardware from the 92, use it. It's the PBR stuff, much better than the older kind.
If you do that, you'll need the MC and prop valve from a newer application.
The parking brake (there is no "emergency brake" on these cars) cables should hook right up. At least it did when I put one of those rears in my 83.
