transmission manuals

I'd like to find a manual or something that teaches me how to repair a 700R4. I've been without a car for a while, and I need my money to get another engine because the one I have is a crapbasket. I'm trying to cut costs where I can, and labor is a major cost. So if anyone knows where I can find a manual or something that would tell me how to rebuild/replace things in the 700R4, it'd help me out a lot.

I use the ATSG manuals. The one for the 700 is pretty good, although some of the import manuals suck. You shoul dbe able to get them where you get your transmission (Unless you go to the dealer).

You can order an ATSG manual from your local NAPA Auto Parts
store.

Wow, I didn't know NAPA could get such a thing! I'm not a big fan of NAPA, myself, but they do sponsor a Chevy in Nascar....

I get them from Dacco/Detroit, which is where I get rebuild jits, and trans-go kit's for stock and mild performance rebuilds. THey have most manuals in stock. Maybe there's a Dacco near you?
