Question on flexplates for 400s

Hey everyone. I want to convert back to auto tomorrow. Currently I have a WC T5 with a 12 3/4" / 153 tooth flywheel from an 84 Camaro that was balanced with the 400. Does a 12 inch flexplate exist for a 400 or will I have to use a 14 inch one ? Will that bolt up to a torque converter used in say.. an 85 Camaro ? I'm getting a 700R4 out of an 85 Camaro. Plus I would need a starter for the 168 tooth flexplate right ? Has anybody done this before ?...

As long as your 400 is still externally balanced your only options are a 168 tooth flexplate or a balancing plate that goes between the crank and flexplate. And the correct starter that goes with what ever flexplate you use.

Most aftermarket flexplates have large and small bolt patterns for either type torque converter.
