The 4.3 is a worthy mod. 4.3 stick even better. 4.3 4x4 thrid gen would be getting nuts.

to be in the top of the v6 class instea of the bottom of the v8.
I had a 305 camaro once, it was very depressing when a nice 350 came by.

 

when its done, it will be a very cool car. I went to the junkyard 2 day and looked around, still dunno if i wanna go carb or tbi. a carb needs an intake, carb, distributer and oil pump. but after looking at a tbi engine with all the wiring on it, it looks like a bitch 2 get all the wires off. any1 have instrustions on how to pull tbi wiring off a 4.3 (or 305) out of a truck? if i go with a carb, how do I power the alternator, wipers, ect? could I leave the original 2.8 wiring/computer just to do the distributer and cave a carb? thanks
