Any of you guys put K&N's on your V6? Did it make a decent performance difference?

 

Yeah , plenty of us guys have em . You wont notice much of a change if any if you just put the filters on .But if you hack the bottem of the boxes off and make ramair you will ! Dont expect a BIG gain , but you will see a gain with the ramair set-up

 

I noticed a bit of a gain - when I used the K&N in place of my original dirty air filter. And I noticed a big gain when I cleaned my K&N after 2 years- wow!

 

I got a spectre Cone filter on my V6 with a 3 inch CAI on my V6 and that made a big diffrence, much smoother ride and lil more power. On my Formula I just but a KN filter on my 305TPI and it idles smoother now, sounds better and much more power. Squills the tires real nice. PLus I also cleaned the MAF sensor sceen on both my cars, the TPI motors MAF was very dirty, wich is why I think the car was stalling out when idleing so low. Pretty much buy a KN air filter, its worth the 30bucks.

 

i have a K&n air and oil filter on all my cars. i noticed a little difference. i think its worth the 30 to 50 bucks. has anyone tryed the K&N oil filter. i have one of those on my cars too

 

i would like to buy a K&N airfilter, need some advice, what Part# and where? carparts.com or summit? or where else
