The tank is in...but theres more.
So I got back from university on the 29th...WAHOO!!! Finished my first year of engineering; so happy.
So then it snows.
I call my G/F and get her to man the jack as I put in the strap bolts... strip Nut inside the clip, Wonderful.
Lower tank, get new nut, put tank back in place. Bolt won't go in...Frustrated go in the house come back out 1/2 an hour later everything goes together like a charm.
Well that was fun and all, but my G/F didn't exactly find it to be the most fun in the world so I finshed up there for the day.
Got up at 9:00 this morning (warm out snow is melted, finished putting it back together, ran a new main line, hooked it up, a few leaks from the lines tightened up the hose clamps more, solved the problem.
Then I hit the key, You know what the scariest noise in the world; is no noise(fuel pump). Crawl back under unhook the plug in plug back in I hear the noise...
Then I put the track bark and brace and tires exhaust, etc. Back on.
Decide I will take it for a drive. Coming back from my short 1 km drive and all of a sudden blah, she dies. So I called my father, he says probably its jut that plug in is loose if you were having problems before its probably the same thing. (keeping fingers crossed) Its 2:00 now he gets home at 5:30. He said he will put it in as to not have anymore problems.
So I'll fill you guys in later. as of right now that scariest noise is with me...NO noise.

Ouch... I hate, too, how we're not supposed to test the pump at all, since they burn out if they're run dry. Hope it works out for ya!!
When I replaced the pump in my 91 last year?... I tested the pump. To hell with that not testing to find the damn things bad!... I just submerged it in a rubbermaid thing that was holding my fuel that I had just drained the day before. ( I had not yet gotten to transfer it to the red tanks yet) That pump made quick work of that too!...
