i was wondering if there is an advantage to swapping the 2.8 to a 3.4,or if just getting a stroker kit would give you the same results.Am i missing something here? Thanks for any info you have,

You need a 2.8 with a large-journal, internally balanced crankshaft, which started in '87. But stroking the 2.8 just gets you to a 3.1.
2.8-3.1 .....I just dont think its worth it . Look in the boneyards for a 3.4 ...I love going to the boneyards lookng for $hit
You can get some good low mileage parts for good prices . Sometimes really good prices !:lala:
