I have a new set of Hooker Super Competition headers for my S10 Blazer (Hey, its a 2.8 too...) and am looking for the best paint or coating to apply to them for longevity.

What's good and what's not so good?

Going to get a set for my 89 Firebird 2.8 too somehow whether its the 3.4 set I have to modify or if I can find a set that fits.

Thanks,

KJay

Well; ceramic coatings are supposed to be the best, at least, the last I heard. They're rust-proof, and trap the heat inside the pipes, which makes your engine compartment cooler, which makes your engine cooler, which makes the engine run better. Some places that do the coatings are Jet Hot and ... uh... dammit, I forget the other place. They're usually in the ad pages of Hot Rod & Super Chevy & etc. http://www.jet-hot.com , I think.
