code 32!!!
alright, i installed the MSD-6AL as i stated in a previous post, and also just replied in that post that i have a code 12 and 32 popping up. I looked up the codes, but am wondering what would have caused them to pop up, and thougth i'd tell you that everything seems to be running fine, if not better than it was b4. The idle has smoothed out a tad bit, pick up is about the same, and can still chirp second, but i'm curious as to why i got this code and is it coensodence, or has this happened to others also. Thanx in advance.

DOnt worry about code 12 it aways comes up when you check for trouble codes. Code 32 EGR right is yours digital or or vacume if its digital you may have just knocked the connector out of the top of the EGR try pushin it in and re setting the battery.

Is your SES light on all the time or does it come on periodically.
Does it come on usually around 70 mph?
Vaccum leak. Mine still comes on after about 30-35 minutes of driving or if I drive over 70, then it will go back out after 2-3 minutes.

that is just about the worst advice that can be given
there obviously is a problem somewhere, may it even be a malfunctioning ECM to show a false code
as stated many times b4, correct operation of EGR is very important to prevent detonation and keep combustion temperatures down
thus, if your EGR is not working correctly, you should not ignore it
by ignoring it, you are killing you engine, defeating your gas mileage and even killing performance

if the car runs fine, screw wha the computer says.
the dam things lies. I learned that when I first got my car, and then again these past few month. cause i second guessed what I know and lost my mind somehow cause I started believe the computer again.
if it runs great, screw the computer. i will say that again, if the car runs great, screw what the computer says.

also, a bad EGR valve is one of those problems that you will not notice right away..................
its hard for me to explain this
but its not like your going to automatically see your engine cylinder temps are hotter.........etc.........
and if you replace your ECM and the code still persists, its evident that you did not cure the problem...................lets see what the EGR system consists of..............a regulated valve that is told when to open, exhaust manifolds, some hoses and pipes, and a connection into the intake
think about this.......................

well hows this, was coming back in tonight, and the damn car dies on me...died 3 times this evening, started back up 3 times too though, which is somewhat nice but it shouldn't have died in the first place. It was like the motor was running, then quit, the RPM's never dropped the motor just quit, like it turned off as smooth as it possibly could. Thinking that it might be a problem with the ignition box, or the way the wires are hooked up. And the engine light did flash again, but i did drive the car home, i'll run and see if i've got any more codes tomorrow, also got a timing light to check engine timing seeing if it's rough or not. Hopefully, everything will get worked out in this coming week, if not, im at the breaking point with this stupid car, new engine, new tranny, still problems, and not fast.

was the car at idle when it stalled..........if it was, you will need a new EGR valve
if it wasnt at idle, you probably have much more serious problems, sad to say
