Hello all i'm getting ready to odered some parts and i figured before i do i'd see what you all have to say.......
I have a stock 91 3.1L auto firebird
now over the past few weeks i've goten a lot of advice form all of you and i would just once again like to say thanks :hail: :hail:
What are the best part's, how much will they set me back, and are they really worth it??????
I'm still thinking about lowing the car so i would love some pro's and con's

Car: 89 f-bird and some others
Engine: 3.4
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
Unfortunatly I don't know much about what you need to know, somebody else here might reply with what you want, but if you haven't already, you might try asking in the 'suspension' section. I don't thing V8 and V6 suspensions are too terribly different. (springs I'm pretty sure are different )

I would not lower it unless you are a real careful driver and you only race on smooth flat pavement.
Now if your like most of us, racing is done at every stop light and city streets can be very unkind to a lowerd car. espically the right lane, which tends to get rough.
Do you have a strut brace yet? frame rail connectors? do you have a rese trailer hitch?
all 3 will really stiffen up the car and make it handle. I see no reason to lower any sports car unless its made for show and no go.
