Tires
hey guys, i'll need tires soon and i was thinkin of getting 235/55's on my stock 92 RS rims. Does anybody have this size tire on this rim so i can see what they look like? I have the stock 215/65's on there and they look like donuts.
Thanks, Ted

Buy from Tire Rack, mail order
Check around for how much mounting & balancing
235-60-15 should be great.
I have 245-60-15 on rear & it looks nice.
I have 215-65-15 in front & looks ok, too.
BUT little meatier better looks.
I'm looking for a 215-65-15 with lots of tread, need only one! Local!

225/60/15 Firestone SZ50's almost a 11" wide foot print on the ground. Go to www.tirerack.com for the best prices around.

I think it's GREAT your team made it to finals, under Bryon Scott!

Here is one picture from the rear, I need to take a better one... this one just doesn't do justice...
Here is a picture of the tires before I mounted them. They are Bridgestone Potenza RE730 P245/50ZR-16 and I purchased them from tirerack.com I believe online.
Here is a picture of one of the rims, I believe you are speaking of the same ones...

Before I traded my factory rims off of my 91 RS . I had 235/60/15's on the front and 255/60/15's on the rear. Yokohama's all the way around . Now my new rims that I traded mine for are Centerline Fluted 5 stars w/ 225/60/15's in the front and 245/60/15's on the rear. These are brand new rims and tires. The guy I traded w/ just bought them and had about a 100 miles on them and decidedhe didnt like them . So he wanted factory RS rims for his 88. I think I stole them........And I didnt look back either
. The 255's fill the fender well real good. It doesnt give you that donut look when you look at your car from the back. I can tell a difference now from all 4 sizes I had/have. So I m happy for now. Will post a before and after pic soon.
