G51 ratio & Tilt Steering Columns
G51 ratio & Tilt Steering Columns
Hi All
I have access to an axle with a ratio that is "G51"
I think that's the 3:42 option (I took info from the RPO codes).
I have access to tilt columns for my 85 Firebird
One from a 1989 S-10 Truck (column shifter)
One from a 1984 Buick Regal (column shifter)
I think the Blazer one is a better/less modifying fit.
Anyone else with suggestions?
Anyone want a Chrysler 440?
1970's issued still in vehicle
$750
Anyone need a truck bed for a S-10 Truck?
Both items in Sun Valley CA (outside of LA)
THANKS!!

Your query has found 1 match!
Here are your results:
G51 : SPRING REAR, HEAVY DUTY, VAR 2
GU6 : AXLE REAR, 3.42 RATIO
Yes, I am that bored tonight

THAT AXLE IS MINE!!
So the GU6 was the code I should have seeked!
Only wish it was a disc brake rear
BUT WHO SAYS I CAN'T MAKE IT ONE!!!!
I'll take a low milage 3:42 rear axle anyday.
Hope it's good.
What should I look for? Especially on the gear teeth?
Serious.
It is literally dry.
No leaks at all.
Looks virgin, like this axle on this wrecked S-10 truck sat in the desert for a long time.
I can't wait!
