Trottle body cooling

Trottle body cooling

Is there a way to cool the trottle bottle like using the windshild resovier to pump Ice cold water troughtr the trottle body? And would that make any differance?

UNLIKE KEEPING THE FUEL COOL AS IT TRAVELS TO A CARB or the intake divorced from the oil gally in engine block to keep mixture cooler in carb....
Others here have made simple throttle body bypasses.
Some say effective, some say wasted time.
Do a search to check out your options.

I believe he has already dont the TB bypass or is asking if running cold water though there would help.

It could not hurt.

I have done the TB bypass, and I have Ram Air. But as you know that upper plenium still gets very very hot. I have not done it yet but soon as I find a sutiable material. I plan on making some plenium spacers. to keep the heat of the motor from travling from the lower to upper plenium. That should help to keep the air temp lower as it only come in contact with anyting hot as it enters the engine.
