New Gauges - Where To Put Them

I have a '86 Camaro, 2.8, No Gauge Dash. I want to add aftermarket gauges. Is there a link to want I need, ex. are the new senders metric or SAE what is a good type to use, is a good spot in from of the pass side middle dash...? I don't want to find out the hard way that I made a mistake. Any help would be appreciated.

Try www.autometer.com or www.summitracing.com I've seen people put guages above the climate controls, by just extending the dash down so that it's flush with the climate control housing.

Depending on your size of gauges you can get a gauge pod that mounts onto the windshield pillar.

Like the idea of making the dash flush. Box in the area. What type & size of senders do I need, is the 2.8 metric or SAE?
