Headers

Post in here ONLY if you want headers. No questions. Any questions should be PMed or Emailed to Camaro Hunter. If you have a question, either do it that way, or search the old posts, I'm sure it's all been answered. Camaro Hunter, if you post in here, JUST PUT prices and availability. This post will be deleted if any other posts are made.

Just trying to get this board cleared up. 50% of the threads are about these headers which isn't bad, it just gets in the way.

EDIT: Might have taken offense to the orignal way worded.....not intentionally made to sound like that though.

Ok keeping to 'Clock's instruction...

Availibility...

10 coming in next week(hopefully)Gonna call Monday to make sure....
2 Paid for = 8 - 2 reserved = 6 - 1 to CARB = 5 - 1 payment by mail = 4.
SO thats the availibility 4 Left. If your trapped by CALIFORNIA EPA, and these sell out, I will make a small run IF AT LEAST 5-6 People order/want to get them.

Again if oyu have any questions, USE THE SEARCH BUTTON, type in Headers and Camar_Hunter_c, you will find your answer. If you want the ingo to see how much S&H will be, go to www.geocities.com/generationxracing/MainPage Follow the links in there. It will tell you where to go and what info to put in at the UPS web site.

I want that set & I'll tell ya why.
I tried to convince Vic Edelbrock that the market for V-6 3rd gens was not dead and just "Tweek" the S-10 2.8 CARB cert'd headers.
Add a package of the Edelbrock exhaust sytem for 3rd Gen "V-8" (basically the same pipes) cars and sell them like hotcakes with profit to boot.
Jerk never responded.
I'd like to shove this purchased, freshly tested and passed header, straight from the El Monte CARB certification HQ, up his nose AND be able to give my header busine$$ to someone else, all at same time!!
I've met his daughter, Cammy, too.
Nice girl.

Chc, after reading all your post about peps not comiting to buy these, and you had 1500+ involved in them, I can understand your frustrations. However the same day I read the post about you getting pissed off, I seen a set on ebay that had 2 days left going for 250+ for a v6 (dont rem brand). I was thinking, hes selling them on thirdgen for 160-175, hell, he could make $$ selling on ebay. I say keep making them, and wait tell you have an order for 10 so that its worth it to make some, not buy a set of collectors 1-2 at a time. And if you so desire, sell some on ebay once in a while. Your gonna have some cash in this project up front, anyone that sells parts does. Dont back down this fast. Sam Walton/Bill Gates didn't become rich in a year. Thats my 2 cents worth, but good luck!!

I now have 3 Paid for, 1 in the mail(cam89) 2 reserve, and 1 CARB =3 Left.
Dale the ones you saw on Ebay, no doubt were Hedmans, now they seem to be popping up every once in a while, BUT remeber People, they DO NOT have the EGR hook up, and WILL NOT FIT A MANUAL CAR.

And I am thinking maybe of getting 5 sets every couple weeks on Ebay. I mean if they do not sell there, I can find someone to buy them elsewhere.

Right, I didn't see the egr hookups on them. I was just trying to help you out. Let you know, other then here, their are places to sell them. Just dont want you getting majorly pissed and throwing stuff down and get all mad. You may not beable to buy the exact tools you need first off, but your making, they work, and if you get them approved for cali, dude, you are set. Everyone has other expenses before performance for their car. Just hang in man!!!

You know this Texas camaro lover is gunning for you too. I just cant wait till they get here on Friday. But I agree w/ Dale. Ebay is a good idea for another place to sell them. I ll pass the word out for you as I have. But I think they (the peps) I know are just waiting on me to put mine on. But I WILL GET MY CAR DYNO-ED to see exact numbers and pass them on to everyone here.

Yes, thats the way its working now. Also if 5-6 people can get togeather and order then I will do small runs. I will also take Dale's Idea and every once in a while there will be a few on ebay. Probly in 4-5 autions at a time. Maybe twice a month(depending on how thigs go)
Right now I am painting 89Camaro's bike(and if that comes out good), then I might be working at a dealership on a 2-3 car a week basis. As the owner does not know me, or the type of work I can do.

I or 89CamaroRS will post pics of the finished bike and then tell you how the bike got painted. The bad thing is we did not take any "Before" Pics, so you cannot see the absolute horror I had to start with.

What you are talking about is called a flange, not a collector. There wasn't any in his prodution pics and he has stated several times that you have to have a y-pipe custom fitted. A muffler shop can use a pipe expander to slipfit and tack a y-pipe to the headers.

Yeah you have to have slip fit "Y" pipe made, on the drivers side, if you look at the pics where is a flange supposed to fit?... it barely fits between the slave cylinder(Manual's) and lower "A" arm mount.

and overclk stated this thread was for CHC's headers
and not a classified for ur sale..
besides who knows maybe u already tried those
headers and couldnt fit them thats why ur selling

CHC is atleast not telling people that the hedmans fit fine and
trying to sell them off

and if they have no name on them
how the heck do u know its for a 60* v6 2.8/3.1

I/We are not "Tag Teaming" HE is stating what he saw me go thrugh to get those damn hedmans in. And to get a "Y" pipe made for those that you can keep your converter anywhere would be a miricle, as you would have to put 2 180* bends in the pipe just so you can bring it somewhat close to the stock location.
And he was correct in stating this sticky was for my info not yours. The board has a classified, and you have Ebay to put them on.

You want to know why this is on the boards? and why it has stayed on the boards? It pertains to the V6 crowd only. And there is no about them. They are being made/sold/ and sent to those that paid the money for them. Get a life. I have a niche in the header industry, and I am gonna make money from it. Hell I have spent enough money tring to get these things going anyway. What do you have a V8?, good for you, So do I, but I still work on getting my V6 quicker. And so far the $200 I have spent have paid off. Not to mention I only pay $25 a month for full coverage insurance, AND I am only 26. And no not on my parents insurance either, all me baby.

There are many of us subscribed to this post waiting on info of these headers. Everytime we get word of a new post it seems to be one of these fu(king kids again that like to shoot their mouthes off. We need this post alive! It has vital info towards a modified V6/60 that you can not find elsewhere.

Too much discussion...locked. I told you guys what this was for. Apparently nobody listens. CHC has permission to start ONE MORE post about these headers....if I see it, I'll sticky it. The same rules apply to the new one. It's just a roll call. NO DISCUSSION. Anything and everything about these headers can be found out using the search or PMing him.

I'm not trying to be a *****...just trying to keep this board straight.

1991. I don't care if you are a moderator. Quit the senseless bickering, or you'll be banned from this forum.
