Tach and Oil Pressure guages not working...

Hey all... Got the gaskets replaced and turned the car over, but there are still things wrong with it. I will need to do some looking into it.

I'm getting a code 44. There is no power still. I need to check the distributor, the crank may have been turned during cleaning gasket while we were sitting in the engine bay.

I will have to pull the dist and set it properly. Any tips on this procedure?

---

Anyhow, besides that seems that now my tach and oil pressure guage isn't working. Also the auto trunk latch motor won't close. Don't know if these are related? Maybe a fuse?? Would be nice to see oil pressure and the revs when trying to crank the car over after the gasket replacement ...

Code 44.. isn't that the oxy sensor, running lean? Can't remember right now. Inspect the oxy sensor wire to make sure the sensor's plugged in and the wire hasn't burned/shorted somewhere.

Sounds like you have blown a fuse.. does your radio work, or interior lights work? Cig lighter work, dome light work? What gaskets did you replace? Maybe you missed a ground strap.

Hey

Hey TomP,

Replaced the head gaskets and everything on up.... I'll check the o2 sensor, yea it is saying it is running lean.

All the electronics seem to work except the tach and oil pressure guage, the trunk motor, and possibly the o2 sensor may be tripping because it isn;t working either? Maybe these are all on the same fuse? I will check all the fuses when I check the o2 sensor.
