Another question for those with Dynomax-tailpipes
Did you guys use the tailpipes that came with the cat-back, or some other tail pipes and tips? Right now I'm using the angled baloney slice tail pipes that come with it, but I'd like to get my tail pipes t come out past the bumper, so it's a little quieter in the car.
Any ideas? Pics? Part #'s? Prices?

I used the dynomax tailpipes. You can't just add a tip to them, though. That angled-slash cut isn't a perfect circle, it's flattened a bit. So you'll have to cut the angled section of pipe off the tailpipe. Then you'll get a perfectly round 2.5 inch pipe that will be pointed straight back. I have Megs chrome round rolled-edge tips on my Firebird, part #4010X. http://coneengineering.com/megs/rolled.htm The stupid things don't have a 2.5" inlet, so I had to notch the inlet, and use an exhaust pipe spreader to strech the inlet to 2.5". Then I used a wide band clamp to connect the two. One of these days, now that I have a welder, I'll weld the tips to the pipes... but it's not on my list of important things to do.
