Two simple sway bar ?'s
Two simple questions about installing sway bars.
First, should the front brackets be a perfect "U" shape, or slightly curved towards the front of the car?
Second, when installing new end links with polyurethane bushings, how much torque? Correct me if I'm wrong, but polyurethane bushings don't compress like rubber bushings

According to the chilton you want to have the bar 55mm from the bottom of the side rail and torque the bracket bolts (U bolts) to 37 ft pounds. There is no metion on the torque specs for the end links. Whenever I can't find an exact torque specification I use this chart.
6mm bolt/nut 4ft lbs
8mm 7ft lbs
10mm 12ft lbs
12mm 18ft lbs
14mm 25ft lbs
16mm 35ft lbs
As far as the shape of the U bracket if you get polyurethane you will get new brackets and they are perfectly U shaped. IF I remember right the factory ones are bent slightly inwards.

Here's what ya wanna do.
Install all the bars, hardware, ALL NEW STUFF/BRACKETS SHOULD BE SUPPLIED, SHOULD BE NO REASON FOR REUSING OLD ANYTHING.....
install loose. Lower car.
Bounce car up & down (settle suspension)
Crawl under car & tighten all fittings.
IF YA DON'T DO THIS PAIN IN THE *** STEP
you will pre-load the bars and that will NOT be good for your car's suspension.
Go for a drive and then recheck all fittings again and also for several days/weeks.
USE ALL the grease ya can (marine grease), and especially on the ends where the washers contact poly stuff. And grease bolt shafts before you install thru bushing.
Have lots of good soap for hands ready.
Don't touch anything after ya grease the poly stuff.
Tighten all bolts until snug then equal hand toque.
You should have all Grade 8 bolts supplied
IF NOT, GO GET 'EM.
Don't waste time using Grade 5 stuff.
Those bolts will break.
