oil pressure guage

for the past couple years, my oil pressure guage has been all over the place. i figured a faulty sending unit.

today, it's dropped down to about zero. should i be worried?

car runs great.

if in fact, the guage is correct, wouldn't i notice something wrong?

260,000 mi, no rebuild, all stock.

The pressure sender units are one of those "common to go bad" parts in these engines. Mine went out and then would intermittently start working again. But it's not a real expensive part or difficult repair, so you might as well go ahead and replace the sender.
