New trouble code

Ok, I got a brand spankin new O2 sensor in yesterday...car idles smoother, and accelerates better...feels like it's getting a better air/fuel mix. That's all good. But as soon as the engine warmed up when I test drove it yesterday, I threw a code 25. I don't see any correlation between that and the oxygen sensor...is there any possible connection? I'm gonna keep driving it for about a week and see what happens..I figure the car computer might be confused from the brand new O2 sensor giving it completely different readings from the old one..and it doesn't run any different when the light comes on. Thanks as usual....

Have you dis-connected the battery and waited 30 secs ? This re-sets the computer .

No as a matter of fact I haven't.. I probably will though, I just wanted to keep running the car to see what it'd do..plus I heard that wiping the comp will make the car run real strange sometimes until it "re-learns" how to operate the car with non-ideal sensor readings and crap. But I think I know why I'm throwing this code...I looked it up and found out which sensor this is..it's the Manifold Air Temp sensor..the MAT...which is actually the same sensor I've been mistakenly calling the IAT..which is currently placed around around a foot and a half from any of my intake ducting..it's just laying there.....so I figure the temperature it's picking up is different enough from the temperature of the air coming in, because my air pickup point is low to the ground and in front of the radiator, to throw a code. I'm thinking I'll reset the computer, and if I keep throwing the code, I'll splice the wire and bring the sensor into the ducting. (As if it didn't need to be any uglier....) Thanks for the tip, Wayne....
