Engine: 2.8 2bbl, 2.8 MPFI
Transmission: 200C 3 speed, 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.08, 3.42
Is the emissions sticker still under the hood? Check there as it gives the idle speed specs for your car

700 is about right, 753 is what mine idles at when they do the emissions test. YES a tune up would make it idle smoother.
