Alright man heres my guess, i just looked at my 2.8MFI throttle body and the end of the cable has a little piece of metal to get that off you can use two pairs of pliers (one holds cable one pulls) and pop it off the piece looks solid though so theres probably not a way to get it back on but theres probably some that you can crimp on from autozone or something .. i know a bicycles brakes uses the same type of thing but the ends to those can be reopened and crimped back on

hopefully this helps

Why would you want to tighten it? Is something wrong with it?

that's exactly what happening. The little metal thing looks like it's gonna fall off and ****. I just wanted to know if I can go ahead and tighten the little metal piece without ****ing things up. Thanks for the idea of the pliers Skatepunk60.
