Well since were on this topic.
I want to know a little theory on the sensor.
My guess,
Does the manifold air temperature sensor tell the computer the temperature of the air for fuel and air mixture reasons.

ex: It tells the computer that its -25 out so it should give the car a little choke, and its 25 out so it should run at a normal air fuel mixture.

This meaning if your sensor is gone you car thinks is -25 out when it is really 15 above, so your car is flooding all the time.
