Dyno
i never thought it was bad for your car. it only helps you better the performance of your car. im going to run mine on a dyno this next summer if i go to the thirdgen nationals in maryland.

Bad in the sense that it has to run the car up to red line several times? Yes, that is always "bad" for the car. Will it make it blow up on the spot? Most likely, no. But does that put a lot of stress on the engine and other components... yes. That is why when you put your car on a dyno they make you sign a waiver saying that if the car blows up, they are not responsible.
It is potentially good for the car in the long run becuase you can tune it based on what you see. But whenever you run the car up to 5k+ RPM's, thats not exactly the best thing for it.
