I ordered boxes today(I went to Staples and they want 10 bucks for three, or I can order for .98 a pop), they should be here monday. So next Mon I will have ALL 6 sets going out. I have 4 sets done, and 1 sets worth bent up. and 4 sets worth tube cut.

All 6 orders will be going out.

I already have 1 person pounding to get a set. After that I will post when they are ready, so there will not be anymore of the waiting(Sorry guys) I will look into getting more collectors if I can get more people buying. What I will do is make them up till the collectors are needed, post pics, and then accept the orders to fill the ones I have ready.

It also seems that my import part stuff is finally getting bussiness too, as I have sold 6-7 fuel rails, an adjustable FPR and hopefully a set of headers(DC SPORTS) not mine, with more coming in after these go out.

 

I really can't wait!!!! :lala: :lala: I'm gonna wet myself when I first start up my car after installing them!!! j/k lol

I already have 2 people pounding down my electronic door(Email) for a set, so I will try to get a CARB set done with those.

 

Hmm, stupid me I actually just stumbled upon the fact that nobody makes headers for our cars a couple of months ago, after searching in vain desire for them. I searched everywhere, I figured SOMEBODY would have them, heck, even Summit didn't.

But anyways, that's really cool of you to help out the V6 guys, headers are definitely going to be an improvement, Lord knows that mine suck.

What improvements, HP and TQ wise, do you guys think these headers will make?

I finished #6 tonight and started on 2 more. I already have 1 of those spoken for. I have collectors enough for 2 more(not including 1 to CARB) so I have 2 more up when they are completed. I am still wondering if I should order more collectors or not. Let me know if you want headers. If enough do, I will take funds of one of the sales and order collectors, if not they stop here and now.
I am not going to order 10 more sets and only have 2 sell. I will do like I said in a earlier posting and do the following.
I already have enough tube/supplies(Minus collectors) to do 7-8 more sets. Minus the 1 to carb, and 1 more that I have extra now that leaves 5-6 with the my current supplies.
What I will do is get 5 ready for collectors, and when (And only when) those 5 are paid for I will order the collectors. THEN if p[eople still want them, I will make then in small 4-5 batch runs. that I could basically do in a weekend.

 

I'd be up for them when they get passed by CARB. After they pass, I'm definitely down for purchasing a pair.

I have sent people to CHC for headers from other sites also. To bad I don't know his email, I just refer them to this site. I dont wanna go to the extream of headers, but I refer the ones that do to CHC, Hope you get these things rolling CHC!!

i found headers for me
i have a 3.4L in my 2.8L set up
would those headers work for me (Performance Wise)
i don't need smog legal
so whatever you have is cool

if not i have some guys there for about 300 bucks that make headers for my 3.4L

for those interested, I bought the exhaust manifold gasket set tonight & they line up perfectly w/the headers.

 

Where did you get the gasket at?

 

The bolt info is all on my page.. Remember the link "Install Tips"? But they are M8x1.25 if I remember correctly. 90 Cents for 2? If that Stainless steel. And remember to get that Anti Seize!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are these plug-n-play bolt up for the 2.8's? How do you dealing with the EGR/smog pump(?) lines going to the factory manifolds?

what the hel l is a smog pump?

gaskets from AZ, about $8.

if you have smog lines, you will probobly need to have bungs welded to the headers to make legal.

& thanks CHD, now I can go get those bolts & antiseize now.

 

the EGR is no different(Digital type) between 2.8-3.1

 

Ok, but there is some smaller tubing that attaches itself to the driver's side exhaust manifold between cyln's 4 and 6. What needs to be done there?

Digital type? Eh? My EGR is a vacuum diaphragm type.
