ES Transmission Mount???

Anyone got one laying around? I'd order it from Jegs, but they want to charge an $8.99 handling charge on a $20 mount. Figured to ask here. Thanks.

Autozone, Kragen. I paid $25.99 + tax at autozone. You end up payin the same amount, just with no wait. They might price match though. I guess you could show them the catalog.

That's why you've gotta order more parts... is Summit's handling fee still the same? It was $6.95, but that was a year or two ago. The great thing is since those are just handling charges, you get charged the same amount if you order one part or 50.

Yeah, well I head the Autozone suggestion before. So I walk into my local Autozone and say, "Energy Suspension Polyurethane Transmission Mount". The guy looked at me and said, "You just blew me away, what the heck is that?" I thought he was joking, but he was serious.

IDIOTS (no offense 2.8) they have working at these places. We asked the manager and he said they don't carry them.

And Jegs is the one with the $8.99 handling charge. I know they want you to buy more stuff, but $$ is tight, so I just want to buy what I need for now.

Did some internet searches, found a price of $26.95 from many places. Handling fee from Summit is $7.95, the poly trans mount is $20.95 . Might want to go with Summit, because the price will wind up to be close to that of another store- unless you find some miracle discount place! If coin's that tight, maybe you want to just get a regular trans mount for now (about $12), or even, get one from a junkyard. A local speedshop would probably charge even more than $26!!

Bummer, just dug up the Prothane bushing part #, 7-1604. Summit has it (part #PTP-7-1604) for $19.95... so you'd just save $1. I think JC Whitney sells Prothane in their catalog, but I can't find it thru their website. The place I got the part # from (BMR fabrication) wants $22 for the bushing, and $12 to ship!! Ouch!

One more try, because it's driving me nuts. Autozone.com shows that they do carry it, it's normal stock for some stores, but they have two prices. One is $24.99 and says "clam shell mount", don't know what that is... clam shell is usually associated with a motor mount, but the part # is correct (3-1108). One is $29.99 and doesn't mention anything about a clam shell mount.

So maybe you could go to http://www.autozone.com and use their store locator to find more stores near you, and then call each one individually. Bonus: You can give them the part # off the website. Even if you talk to Bozo The Clown on the phone, they should at least know how to do a part # lookup, even if they can't spell polyurethane.
