3.5 v6 outta intreped

hi I'm 16 and i have an 85 firebird i just bought it for 450$ it had a sh*ty little 2.8 .once i pulled that out my dad saw a totaled intrepd with a 3.5 at a dealership this is the same engine that is in the plymouth prowler, so we pulled the motor i wanted to keep the rwd so i trade the tranny with 500$ for a 5spd prowler tranny
i have just finished puting it in tonight . i love her
first thing i did was a bunout much more torquey then the 2.8 and better gas milage then a v8

What about the exhaust, fuel, computer, wiring harness, relays, and all that other stuff needed for an engine swap. What did you do with those? If you really did do the swap then give us some full details. A Dodge in GM, thats interesting.

LMFAO!!!!! Nah, he has about 5 other user names but they're all listed around the same area of the world. I don't think he could have dreamed something like this up. He's more insistent that his Topaz is a 1-of-100 with a DOHC 3.0 V6 (but still a Ford motor).

I haven't heard from him in awhile....

Well, he -does- know enough to say that he had to make motor mounts. Not sure about how this prowler's transmission went in, or any driveshaft specifications...

And yeah, firebird/intrep, go get one of those $12 disposable cameras, take some pictures, then get them developed "to CD". Most developing shops can do that now... takes about a week to get 'em back. Then put the pictures up, because you'll have proof of owning the only 3.5L intrepid-powered 3rd gen f-body in the world!!

There is a 3.0 V6 5 speed productin topaz Im just not sure its DOHC definatly not one out of 100. http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...SFI&PageSync=2 .

I would be very impressed if this freak of nature car is real, hell I think everyone here would insist that you become moderator over at the motor swap board. Please post pics we want to beleive.

Yup my dad blew the engine showing off, hahahaha. What a big pile of crap.

Someday us V-6'er's will get respect, if we keep people like this off the board.

Guess what?
I found a Civic in the Boneyard!
Vtech, too!
Wiring Harneses.
With a good 5 Speed Trandmission.
I bought them both for $600 Canadian.

I Took the 2.8 out and put the 1.6L in.w/ The 5 Speed Transmition.
Took the computer out of the Honda and made a custom chip.
Converted over to FWD.
Buh bye RWD.
I got Mad traction now.
I cant spin the tires with this vtech baby.
Too good of traction.
Beter Fuel Economy
And its FASTER!
Man when Vtech kicks in, It's like as powerful as a 2.5L.

Good, because if you could, then you might show off and blow the engine.

Lets raise that flag once more. If this was ture (I wish it were) with all the time invested into this car's swap and extensive modifications to the crosmembers to mount the intrepid engine and wiring to make it work the car would be useless unless the blown 3.5 was replaced with another 3.5 readily avalible at any bone yard $500-700. Theres no way someone would do all that just to go back to a chevy platfrom.
