What are our options when it comes to upgrading fuel injectors on our 2.8L v6's? Are the injectors off of a 3.1L any bigger? a 3.4L?

My co-worker (Master Tech, been with GM for over 20 years) used 305 TPI injectors in his 1985 Celebrity 2.8L. They actually work and pass smog although he does set an occasional Code 45 (exhaust rich). Hell, MY car sets an occasional Code 45 and I only have 3.4 injectors.

One important thing though; when switching injectors you HAVE to make sure the replacements have the same resistance value as the old injectors.

 

Do you guys have a custom chip? Im thinking about getting my chip dyno tuned and i think that would help a lot. Theres a place real close to where i live that does that stuff.
