im buying a pair of BFG Radial T/A 265/50 / 15 for my stock 15x7 Rally sport rims on the rear only
will it fit on the rim?
will it rub at all?
do i need to make suspension changes or can i leave it?
and 205 /50/ 15 for the same type of rim in the front?

the bigest tires on an 85 Firebird were P245/50VR16. I think that was the biggest used that wouldn't rub. Also, go to maybe www.tirerack.com , I belive they might have a table to compare tire size, to make sure sure your new tires are just about as tall as the ones you're replacing to minimalize speedo discrepency.

friend used to run 255's on the back of his T/A. Those were mounted on 16x8 rims also. I'm running 235's out back right now, and i can't find a 245 that's in a 15 in size...so it looks like the 235s will be on there for a while.

245 60 15`s maybe but I 235 60 is largest that will fit on a 15 without any problems and they used those from the fact on some t/a`s

P235/60VR15 was an optional size on '87 z28's.

only 15 were sold that way.

the 50 series won't fit the rear w/ 265's. it's been tried. not on a 7" wheel.

and the 205/50 up front is way too short and will look ghey.

short sidewalls don't look good unless you're lowered. esp. w/ 15" wheels
