If you car is hot wired it'll turn on for 15 seconds, then shuts down because its not reading the chip, then takes 30 minutes before you can start it up at all (chip or not chip)

Leave it to GM to make our cars one of the quickest to get into without damage to the exterior. Thanks GM! That's awfully. Fortunately for me there is nothing inside my car for them to steal.
That's messed up, but listen to this. My stepdad has a restored 79 Z28 with the appearance package, it's the only car like that around here in Akron. Well, some idiot decided he would steal it. He smashed the window (doesn't have alarm yet) and popped it into neutral, and must've rolled it down the hill before he started it (the car is really really loud). Well anyways, stepdad reported it stolen and the guy was found the next day driving around in it! What a moron!! If I would've thought of stealing, at least pick something alittle inconspicuous!

And don't forget a few friends in bushes nearby, to help get him when he runs. That's really screwed up. I had stuff stolen out of my car the same night I totalled it; they went in thru the barely-open window and ripped my stereo and radar detector off. I only wish they succeded in stealing the neon I had inside the car... maybe a couple thousand volts would've fried the SOB. Luckily, they didn't do any extra damage to the car. I still wonder how they got the subwoofers out without screwing up the window OR the tint.
