Choices choices

Well I went to a dealer today and checked pricing on the GM Hipo 3.4 heads. 549? PER!, I said, uh no. So I went to a gas station spent a buck 25 and bought a trader. Got home and began looking around. chevy 400, 350, ect ect 1-200... then at the very end.. RUNNING 396 BB WITH TRANS, needs rebuilt.... $200!... can you hmm found the engine for next summer?
Waiting till this weekend to come and going to go pick THAT baby up. Best thing, only 1 town over!.
Looked at a basic rebuild kit, 420 and change, that'll do for now.
Swap headers OUCH 400!... but a running/rebuilt 396 swap into for $1K? not bad... instant power gratifacation.

Anyone that knows V8s can tell you that a 377 is a very high revving small block. A TPI setup isn't going to keep up to RPMs.

A big block is a nice swap. Hey, just yell if you need a set of custom headers

Hmm the 377 is a destroked 400, and yes will rev to the sky, and have the TRQ to go with... And yes a TPI system, CAN keep up with the 377, Its called Holley stealth ram w/ 1100 CFM T/B.

Those custom headers? not needed, they make BB swap headers for the 82-92 camaro. read above....
