Does anyone have any idea what could cause a volt meter at the dash to shake all over the place. My lights will flicker a little at night. I replaced the alternator...NO LUCK!! Any other ideas? I would really like to avoid having to take it in to a mechanic. By the way no codes are coming up. Thanks, Aaron

 

alternator or battery, maybe a bad wire.

 

Must have a Good Ground!

 

if no good ground, car no run.

 

poss. could be voltage regulator

 

Hows your idle, is it jumping around as well or is it stable?

 

EVEN IF
you already replaced alternator, do it again, especialy if it has a warranty.
WHY?
You'll probably solve the problem that way, best.
