but don't much about cars and I need some help. I just bought a crank pulley for my 3.1L camaro. For those who installed one, did you have to change the belt size or does it stay the same size? I haven't received my pulley yet and I just curious.

By the way, I'm new here. My name is Erin. I gotta a 91 3.1L V6 camaro. I've been lurking around for quite some time but this by far the best V6 board I've found. You guys rock! Here's a link to my car page. it hasn;t been updated for a while. I'm in the process of getting my megashifter installed now though. Thanks for your help and I'm sure i'll be back soon to ask more questions

Yes, you need to change belt size. I bought an asp pully, and the size belt "quoted" on their site had problems on my car. I dropped down another 1/2" (98.0 to 97.5) on mine. Prob could of standed to go down even to a 97.0.

You will need to remove the center lug first, then the outter 4, then install the outter 4 first, then the center lug to help everything line up right and easier.
