Tires

Okay, so I need tires. I want to buy them from Les Schwab, because of their warrenty and I have a 90 days same as cash account with them. There is only one problem, their tire selection....

I have 235 60/15's on my Camaro, which is the big problem, they only carry one tire in that size. Grand Am Radial G/T, which is what I have on their now. I want something that will grip the road better in the rain as well as dry weather. I can have them swiped for $12 a tire more, no biggie. I was wondering if anyone had some more suggestions. Just remember, my camaro is a daily driver, the only car I own. I can lower the tire size to 225 60/15's which would bring my selection WAY up. Here is what they have in that size.

Performance

225 60/15
Proxes H4
Aqua Flow GTX
Ziex ZE-326
Grand Spirit HR+4

Non Performance

225 60/15
Proxes TPT

if at all possible, Tire Rack

you can also use their "compare tire" thing & do side-by-side comparos

I upsized my tires to a 245-60-15 on my 91
this is a size formerly used on the vettes of the sixties and seventies. the look pretty good made the ride better, and best of all they come in raised white letter. the look of raised white letters on a thirdgen worried me at first because I couldn't remember ever seeing it before, needless to say that's all I'll be buying for the camaro from now on It gives the car that nostalgic high-performance look wish I had a pic but I guess you'll have to take my word for it

grab yourself a set of nittos!!! jk of course (doubt ur wanting to pay that much (how much do they cost anyway?). I'd say, if the tire itself looks good, has a nice amount of surface area there shouldn't be any problem with downsizing on the tires width. I'm running a set of viper 235/60/15's right now, (have the white letter (on the wrong side ) but if i can ever afford the second pair for the front, (summer) i'll have them switched to white letter on both sides, should look nice.

I thought that we were here to help each other out not put each other down, it seems that if you can't argue over headers lets argue over tires...what next?
I deleted all of the useless post on this theard (about 8 of them) and now I am locking it.
