Hiya again Im having some good problems with starting my camaro. Last time it ran it started up run for a short while then gave up. Unfortunately, I wasn't here to witness this as my brother -in-law, who owns a custom and american car repair shop called Wacky Racers started it but the afore mentioned problem occured. Since then it has refused to run, until today that is. It ran for aprox' 10 seconds then stopped again. During the time that it ran, it ran really badly, ie; hardly any response from the accelerater, but I checked the fireing order over and over again It now occasionally fires but keeps wetting the plugs. I keep taking them out cleaning them putting them back but the same happens again. I'm very near to giving up now as it is a pain in the *** and it's raining again. Any help again would be greatfully recieved. Cheers.

Has anyone checked spark?? Sounds like its getting fuel.

You have to deal with wires, coil, distributor, pickup coil, ICM, plugs, wires.

If it's wetting the plugs...ie, leaving fuel on them..then they're either not sparking, or doing so very poorly. Severely failing coil? How are your plugwires, cap, and rotor?

Must be some fouled plugs. My car did that when I took it to the tranny shop after I finaly finished rebuilding my motor. I was barely able to get it to the shop before I couldnt start anymore. I spent a day trying to figure out what was wrong until I pulled a plug and realized it was fouled. Pull your plugs and wire brush them and reinstall and see how your car runs then.
